Our Journey

Building a True Home for Jewish Life

Three Years Ago

Opening the Doors

Inspired by the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Mendel and Basya Goldman founded Chabad at OU. They found a rental home off Lindsey Street and opened their doors to students and faculty.

A Growing Need

Outgrowing Our Space

As the semesters passed, it became increasingly clear that our space was insufficient for the vibrant community being built.

Securing the Property

We found a property in an excellent location right near campus. With the help of our incredible partners, we purchased the property in April of 2025. The task now was to make it a true home for Jewish life in Norman.
